INTRODUCTION


The Warranty and Guarantee Policy of Genesis Homes NE LLC outlines our commitment to providing quality services and the terms and conditions under which warranties and guarantees are offered to our clients. This Policy aims to build trust with our customers and clarify the terms of our warranty and guarantee programs.




PURPOSE



The purpose of this Policy is to:
 

  1. Define the warranty and guarantee coverage provided by Genesis Homes NE LLC.

 

  2. Specify the terms and conditions under which warranties and guarantees are applicable.

  3. Outline the procedures for customers to claim warranty or guarantee benefits.




WARRANTY COVERAGE



Genesis Homes NE LLC offers warranties on its services that are valid for a one-year period. The warranty date will begin 30 days after the completion of the service(s) hired Genesis Homes NE LLC is hired for or the substantial completion of the project, whichever is first to occur. Warranty coverage may include repair or replacement depending on the nature of the product/service. This warranty pertains to work performed by Genesis Homes NE LLC employees and representatives. Warranty is granted to the client that inquired, that being builder, general contractor, or Home/property owner, and is neither transferable nor refundable. We will be responsible for covering the cost of labor and materials to replace repair defects in our materials or workmanship.





GUARANTEE COVERAGE


Genesis Homes NE LLC guarantees that its products/services will meet certain specifications or performance criteria. Guarantee coverage may include repair or replacement options if the specifications or performance criteria are not met.






WARRANTY AND GUARANTEE TERMS



The terms and conditions of warranties and guarantees, including coverage periods, limitations, and exclusions, will be clearly communicated to customers in writing in the following sections or a curated warranty and guarantee letter provided by Genesis Homes Ne LLC to the specified client. The letter may contain additional project specific conditions that are disclosed in writing.





CLAIM PROCEDURE




Customers who believe their product/service is covered by a warranty or guarantee and has experienced a defect or non-compliance should follow the provided claim procedure, which may include:



Contacting Genesis Homes NE LLC customer support.



Submitting a warranty claim within Genesis Homes NE LLC's client portal, also known as Buildertrend.



Providing appropriate documentation within claim submission for Genesis Homes NE LLC to review, such as pictures of the area, description of the issue(s),



If additional information is necessary, a member of the Genesis Homes NE LLC team will conduct an inspection of the area in question [associated with the claim submitted] for additional approval to fulfill the claim. Resolution specifications may be disclosed to the client after the review and inspection phase.



Coordinating a date & time with Genesis Homes NE LLC depending on both parties' availability, for the fulfillment of the claim specified.

To ensure a thorough product evaluation, if you submit a warranty claim, we recommend scheduling your fulfillment date 4-5 months out in case other issues arise in which you'll be asked to add to your existing claim or submit an entirely new claim for that concern(s). This will allow us to resolve all matters in one or fewer visits to guarantee total quality satisfaction at once.


[Genesis Homes NE LLC's capacity, procedure and availability to resolve your claim(s) is entirely dependent on other factors outside of our control such as pandemics, the price change of materials and supplies, public limitations and announcements, other contracted job timelines, voluntary/nonvoluntary LLC dissolution, client inability to comply, client miscommunication or therefore lack of communication, legal restrictions, illness/death, other unnamed circumstances outside of our control. These factors may alter or inhibit our ability or outcome to fulfill your warranty claim.]





LIMITATIONS, EXCLUSIONS, AND CONSIDERATIONS



Genesis Homes NE LLC may specify limitations and exclusions to warranty and guarantee coverage, including but not limited to:



Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized repairs.



Normal wear, tear and use.



Services used outside specified conditions.



Small remodels, only large remodels and new constructions will be considered.



Services not performed by us or altered by another contractor.



Not our faulty material nor workmanship, third-party at fault



Damages caused by a third-party/ other contractor not associated with Genesis Homes NE LLC on-site as our work is in progress or after our work is completed.




CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES



Customers are responsible for understanding the terms and conditions of warranties and guarantees, including any limitations or exclusions. Customers should also retain proof of purchase for warranty or guarantee claims.





POLICY COMPLIANCE



Non-compliance with this Warranty and Guarantee Policy may result in corrective actions in accordance with Genesis Homes NE LLC's policies and procedures.





POLICY REVIEW




This Warranty and Guarantee Policy will be reviewed annually or more frequently if necessary. Updates or changes to the Policy will be communicated to all relevant personnel to ensure continued adherence to warranty and guarantee guidelines. Policy terms and conditions may be changed at any given time by Genesis Homes NE LLC.




POLICY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & AGREEMENT



By hiring Genesis Homes NE LLC for any construction services i've inquired about, I've acknowledged and agreed to the terms and conditions within the Genesis Homes NE LLC warranty policy in it's entirety. I agree that I am responsible for following and reviewing any changes made to the policy by Genesis Homes NE LLC.
